· This includes tracking shipments, scheduling dock appointments, preparing Export paperwork, and accounting for Logistics costs. · Coordinate with 3PL partners for Warehousing and Transportation. · Coordinate and schedule appointments with 3PL Warehouses for all non-customer related shipments. This includes transfers of both Finished Goods and Raw Materials, HPP shipments, and inbound shipments of Finished Goods · Schedule Export shipments and prepare Export documentation, including Canadian and European shipments · Track and monitor 3PL Transportation delivery issues, including all late deliveries to customers, to provide feedback and improve customer service · Research and reconcile OS&D issues as they occur. · Investigate claims filed by customers for unsatisfactory shipments, and prepare claims for 3PL logistics partners · Track and communicate order-fill and operational issues · Maintains a professional, courteous manner with all visitors, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees. · Follows established company policies and those outlined in the Employee Handbook. Work Experience Requirements · Minimum of 1 - 2 years of Logistics experience · Experience with the Exporting process · Experience managing 3PL or 4PL providers · Food manufacturing experience preferred. · High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent organization, communication and follow-up skills Able to influence others & manage conflict Ability to self-direct and take constructive action Extremely high standards of excellence Analytical with a methodical approach to problem solving Strong sense of urgency & attention to detail Education Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field (required) Job Type: Full-time Experience: Logistics: 1 year (Preferred) Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Additional Compensation: Bonuses Work Location: One location Benefits: Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Retirement plan Paid time off Other Schedule: Monday to Friday
