About You: Our ideal People & Culture Coordinator is an up-and-coming HR professional looking to build on their existing skills. You are a natural people person and coach and you are looking to apply these skills in a fun and collaborative environment. Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you’ll provide administrative support for day-to-day HR operations, assist in training efforts and act as a key collaborator in our recruiting and retention efforts. Key Responsibilities: Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies. Participating in full cycle recruitment. Preparing new hire documents and ensuring that new employees fully complete the onboarding and training processes. Maintaining accurate employee records across the organization. Providing front-line support for employees regarding company policies and employee relations. Managing employee snack program and physical office environment Assisting in coordinating corporate events and activities. Contributing to HR projects and initiatives as assigned. Requirements: Minimum of 1-2 years previous experience in human resources, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of legislation pertaining to labour standards, human rights, and health & safety. Strong organization skills, critical thinking skills and attention to detail. A strong team player with a customer service approach to supporting the organization. Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
