Position Summary The Recruitment Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent by developing and executing recruiting plans, networking through industry contacts, association memberships, third party agencies and employee referrals. Specifically, the recruiter is proactive about business needs, taking business trends into account when seeking out, prescreening, interviewing, and testing applicants to locate qualified employees for job openings. Must haves: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 2 years of relevant experience or Restaurant Management experience Ability to maintain and preserve strict confidentiality Strong knowledge & capabilities in excel You are detail-oriented & have strong organizational skills Ability to provide professional customer You enjoy a fast-paced, deadline driven environment Experience using HR systems / applicant tracking systems (ATS) Innovative thinker, able to use and develop new sources for recruitment Able to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively with different managers & candidate personalities Duties: Confers with management to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills Maintain current knowledge of internal pay equity, human rights and employment standards guidelines, and immigration compliance Design and implement creative methods for attracting qualified candidates to the organization Encourage employee referrals, communicating its importance and ensuring incentives are administered for successful hires Create job descriptions; position postings; recruitment packages and offer letters for new hires and promoted employees as required by the business Review and evaluate applicant qualifications or eligibility Guide applicants through the recruitment process - ensuring they are informed of the status of their employment possibilities, consideration, and selection Recruit domestic and foreign applicants for open positions, making presentations regarding the organization and job opportunities; coordinating staff participation, set up, and work at job fairs and recruitment events Plan recruitment and advocate for the development of new recruitment initiatives Complete other special assignments and projects as assigned Travel as needed Why work for FMI?
