Forest of Flowers is currently recruiting a Customer Service/Floral Design Associate for Retail Florist Position requires the following: Retail sales experience Demonstrated leadership & ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment POS/Computer experience Floral Design Experience as asset Customer Service Duties and Responsibilities: Assisting and serving customers quickly & efficiently as needed Entering customer information into the computer Must be sales oriented & understand & practice up selling to maximize ATV Floral Design: Quick and Efficient creation of Hand-Tied bouquets and floral designs. Assist the Lead Floral Designer in keeping the cooler filled with fresh and artistic arrangements. It is very important that they know how to care for the flowers and be able to pass that information on to our customers. Eagerness to learn and grow in design skill Personality traits: Excellence in all professional and personal areas of life Excellent communication and relationship building skills Detail oriented, works well within a Team environment by supporting a positive and opportunistic team environment Dedication to exceeding the expectations of our customers and staff Ability to work under pressure Character of holding ourselves to the highest standards of integrity, honesty, commitment and accountability Compensation: Part-time position (approx. 15-30 hours). Compensation commensurate with experience. Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Experience: Floral Design: 1 year (Preferred) Job Duties: Answer incoming customer inquiries Record and modify customer information within the database Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies Other duties as requested
