Forest River, Inc., the Nation's largest manufacturer of Recreational Vehicles, Cargo Trailers, Transit Buses and Boats is taking applications for placement at: Plant #47 located in Sheridan, Oregon. Production Assembly Positions (Manufacturing) All production positions are full time, day shift with 7:00 am start time, year round. Responsibilities: Follow written and verbal instructions Perform job duties associated with production assembly processes Follow specific quality and code criteria to maintain quality and code compliance Follow all safety policies and procedures Maintain quality and quantity expectations Qualifications: Prior RV assembly experience is a plus but not required Must be able to communicate effectively with Supervisor and coworkers Ability to read a tape measure Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings Ability to problem solve while performing routine assembly Must be punctual and maintain good attendance Ability to use basic hand tools and operate various power tools Be able to occasionally push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 pounds Be able to stand and or walk while working for up to 9 hours Be able to frequently kneel, squat, crawl, twist, stoop, bend and reach for up to 9 hours Ability to frequently climb stairs and ladders for up to 9 hours Work Environment: Fast paced production Primary work area is indoors, dry, heated, and well-lit Exposure to working outdoors is occasionally required year round Exposure to noise, dust, fumes or chemicals, etc. as associated with a manufacturing environment Great employees are a vital and an integral part of creating our superior product.
