Our team is made up of 22,000 awesome Foodies serving 1.3M customers every week across our PAK’nSAVE, New World, Four Square, Gilmours, Liquorland and Fresh Collective, our of our seven Distribution Centres and three Transport hubs, and in our Auckland, Wellington, and Palmerston North Support Centres. Foodies who Care Giving back, supporting the community and doing what is right by the environment is in Foodies blood! From introducing compostable fruit bags and removing plastic shopping bags from store to supporting local schools and community groups to providing support for our team who come across hardship through the Foodies Foundation, we are constantly looking for innovative ways to show we care. Foodies in store As a Cooperative, our stores are all individually owned and operated, and our owner-operators run the show! We have a mix of owner backgrounds, from career retailers to ex café owners, bankers, doctors and All Blacks, who made the brave switch to become the owner of their very own store. To become an owner, you need experience in and a genuine passion for retail - then come show us how good you are, once you have, we will help you into your first store! More than 50% of our current owners started in one of our stores in high school and now own their very own piece of one on NZ’s most iconic brands. Foodies in Support Foodies Support Centre is just that, a support centre! We are here to help the stores to deliver on our customer promises from moving products around the country, assisting with innovative IT solutions and retail optimisation through to support with health and safety, training and hiring top talent. Being a Foodie Proudly 100% Kiwi Owned, we’ve been aiming to make sure New Zealanders get more out of life for nearly a century. Foodies on the move We've been making some big changes over the past few years, guided by our strategy and customer insight... and now we're ready to embark on the next exciting part of our strategy to build on our world-class supply chain and ensure we're agile, efficient, and able to compete with anyone. We're going to build a much larger, world-class Ambient Distribution Centre (DC) and a bright, modern Support Centre on one site at The Landing, Auckland Airport. It will be the biggest DC in the history of our Co-op; large enough to meet our needs for the next 30 years, and one of the biggest in New Zealand.
