Full-Time, Monday - Friday Work Week, Days (Example: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Flexible to meet business needs Remote option but will be required to travel to Corporate Headquarters in Fort Myers, FL on a monthly basis Responsibilities Summary: Subject Matter Expert on Insurance, Negotiate Rates, Policies - Healthcare and Certification(s) Needed. Under the supervision of the Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management, this position is responsible for the enterprise-wide insurance programs, including Professional Liability/General Liability (HPL/GL), Property, Directors and Officers, Fiduciary, Cyber, Regulatory, Auto, Flood, Crime, etc. In addition, this position the management of claims, analysis of data, interface with legal counsel, and delivery of insurance related education. This management function is performed with the objective of controlling, as well as minimizing, losses in an effort to protect th2019e assets of the entire health system. Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Performs other duties and projects as assigned. Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or finance from an accredited college or university required. MS or MBA preferred. Certifications/Licenses: ARM, CPCU, CLU and/or CPHRM required. Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings. Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required Previous Experience: Seven (7) to ten (10) years of professional experience in the insurance field. Preferably with combination of experience as a broker/insurance company manager coupled with experience as a high-level manager in a corporation in excess of $1B. Experience in healthcare field, exposure to for-profit institutions. Demonstrated expertise of self-insured and third-party insurance programs. Ability to develop short-term and long-term strategies for FCS. Ability to perform skilled and objective evaluations of prospective brokers, insurers and reinsurers. Knowledge of local, state and federal issues and trends in insurance, especially the healthcare industry. Skilled in budget preparation and management. Leadership and Mentoring: Effectively lead and facilitate group discussions, coach, mentor, motivate, and engage others to align to a common goal. Ability to effectively lead projects from inception through implementation and assessment. Human Resources Management: Effectively hire, coach and support staff develop, as applicable, as well as manage resources, performance and employee relations, and supervise within established policies, procedures and legislation. Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Proficiency in insurance, claims and risk management databases.
