About The Position: Full time, long-term Compensation: Dependent on experience ($20-25/hour) Time Spilt: 3 days Admin/Community, 2 days floor shifts The goal of the Regional Community Lead (RCL) role is to elevate our community initiatives, build a strong network of partnerships, and drive traffic to our flagship stores. They will also be responsible for managing our Local Guide (retail ambassador) relationships and support them in hosting impactful, brand-relevant events in collaboration with our retail locations. The RCL will be a natural connector, community-builder, innovator, and entrepreneurial in spirit. Responsibilities: - Work in collaboration with store, area, and regional managers to create quarterly community strategies, which will drive traffic and hit ROI targets - Conceptualize, plan, and facilitate on-brand community initiatives, including in-store events and outdoor activations - Align with brand marketing calendar and effectively manage retail marketing budgets - Present weekly progress reports to area and regional managers - Strategize to successfully exceed quarterly and annual ROI targets - Attend and host weekly events in collaboration with store teams and brand ambassadors - Leverage previous experience in social media to promote events, partnerships and initiatives through approved channels - Preserve and build on existing relationships between local organizations and Fjallraven; maintain the utmost professionalism and respect when representing the brand on and off duty - Commit to understanding store culture, guest experience, in-store marketing campaigns, customer demographic and demand through pre-determined hours on the sales floor - Manage our Local Guide (ambassador) relationships - Constantly network and engage in community events outside of store hours Skills & Qualifications: - Naturally outgoing, curious, and creative; able to engage with guests and be the brand spokesperson at grassroots events - Exceptional communication and collaboration skills - Love being in the outdoors and live a sustainable lifestyle - Strong accuracy and attention to detail - Excel and Word Proficient - Outstanding oral and written skills - Proven ability to effectively collaborate and motivate a team - Strong community and social media presence - Highly organized and resourceful - Expert multi-tasker and problem-solver - Minimum 2 years’ experience in event coordination/ management - Bonus: Bachelor’s degree in communications or 3 years’ relevant work experience in community management or brand marketing Benefits: Extended health care Vision care Dental care Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Experience: Sales/Communications/Event planning: 2 years (Preferred)
