The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: - Accounting experience in the for-hire transportation industry - Minimum 5 years experience in an accounting, administration related role - High School diploma with an accounting or business diploma - Independent, self-starter that can be pro-active in their role - Fluent in Microsoft Office software - Knowledgeable in accounting and dispatch software - Well organized with strong attention to detail - Strong written and inter-personal communications skills The primary responsibilities for the Accounting Administrator will be to: - Administer and maintain accounting related responsibilities for various functions and related tasks - Compile and input data into our operations and accounting system - Responsibility for equipment permitting and vehicle registrations and renewals - Create and track purchase orders for parts and services ordered - Maintain and update equipment files with proper documentation - Direct phone calls for the office and dispatch (when required) - Provide administrative support to the HR, Safety and Operations team Compensation: Compensation will be commensurate with the qualifications and level of experience of the successful candidate.
