About the role: Finder is looking for an experienced editor to build, expand and improve content within our international money transfers vertical that includes personal, business and marketplace seller subcategories. You'll become part of a close-knit team that creates remarkable content every day. This position is in our Sydney office or, for the right candidate, remote. Who are you? You're somebody with a passion for words who can bring our editorial voice to life across our site. You're looking to join a growing, fast-paced Internet publisher supported by your experience in editing and guiding writers to create comprehensive digital content for SEO. Responsibilities: Edit and improve articles that meet our style, voice and tone and exceed our competition. Update and apply regulatory and compliance knowledge across the money transfer category. Brief and assign articles to writers based on SEO keyword analysis. Optimise older content to strengthen user intent and better meet our readers' needs. Work with our PR team to position or feature the niche in content marketing pieces. Desired Experience and Skills: Understanding of SEO, keyword research and the tools required to explore user insights, supported by editorial experience that results in highly ranked content. A background working with freelance writers, assigning content and providing detailed feedback to improve quality. Ease with editing and streamlining complicated topics into clear content that speaks to our intended reader. Deep critical thinking and research skills to investigate, produce and guide comprehensive content on unfamiliar topics. Bachelor's degree in journalism, English or communications or commensurate experience writing or editing in digital publishing, direct marketing or a relevant field. Experience with regulations and compliance within finance, banking, business or a similar industry. Maybe you've worked for a small business's site or created your own expats blog. You might not understand the intricacies of finance, but you know how to make a topic interesting while matching a reader's needs.
