As a Legal Analyst, you will use your research and analysis skills to own and improve upon research processes, case tracking methods, and client reporting tools, while using your exceptional written and verbal communication skills to deepen relationships with clients, claim administrators, and colleagues. The Role: As a Legal Analyst at FRT, you will: Leverage PACER, Westlaw, and other legal research tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date records regarding relevant cases Conduct legal research regarding relevant cases, including domestic securities class actions, foreign securities collective actions, and antitrust class actions related to bank collusion in the sale of alternative financial instruments Track and review dockets and maintain database information regarding cases, settlements, court decisions, etc. Make sure internal and external clients have the most up to date information regarding relevant cases Maintain knowledge libraries to ensure that our internal and external clients have the most current information easily available and identify potential improvements to those knowledge sharing systems Compile and prepare written research reports to keep colleagues and clients informed regarding new and pending cases, settlements, filed claims, and remitted funds Build and maintain databases of case, client, and litigation organizer information Keep organized and meticulous records of client and organizer contact to ensure regular and efficient communication with necessary parties Identify opportunities to increase automation in our case, client, and claim tracking systems Our ideal candidate is: Experienced in legal research using PACER, LexisNexis, Westlaw, and/or other legal research tools; Intellectually curious, with a demonstrated commitment to continuous growth; Highly organized and adept at maintaining records and schedules; A skilled communicator, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills; Self-directed, with strong analytical, problem solving, and creative thinking skills; Highly collaborative, prioritizing collaboration over credit, and interested in building strong relationships with peers across corporate functions; Comfortable balancing long-term projects and the at-times urgent demands of daily work; and Of course, looking to join a growing company with a vibrant, entrepreneurial culture, dedicated to being the top provider in the class action recovery space.
