Retail Operations Coordinator The retail operations coordinator will work alongside the retail fleet to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/assignments simultaneously, acting as an integral part of the team at Filson. A successful candidate will have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both internally and externally while supporting the retail daily functions. As the inside voice of Filson you will ensure that each retail store have the necessary systems and processes in place and you will work closely with our retail locations to ensure critical data is both accurate and timely. This person is a liaison between our Retail Stores and Filson Corporate Headquarters. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Ad-hoc analysis to support Retail Managers and Retail Merchandise and Operations Director (POS functions, scheduling analysis, team performance reports, etc). Administrator roles on key platforms; including retail reporting and point of sale systems. This role will support user acceptance testing and functionality roll outs to the retail stores with both front of house and back of house systems. Analyze merchandising opportunities in collaboration with the visual merchandising team. Collaborate with the planning department to ensure product-based initiatives are properly executed in the retail fleet in regard to price changes, replenishment cycles, physical inventories, and markdowns. Create and support retail standard operating procedures to build better business processes between the retail fleet and corporate partners. Manage the retail calendar in collaboration with the retail management group. Operational, administrative, and analytical support for the Retail Merchandise and Operations Director. Track and manage project timelines in regard to seasonal product releases, IT enhancement projects, and other business-based needs. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 2 years retail leadership experience or equivalent Ability to communicate information, either verbally or written, to individuals in multiple roles Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships Ability to meet critical deadlines. Must have strong organizational, planning skills and pay close attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast moving and challenging environment. Must be self-motivated and dependable. Ability to prioritize. Efficient and strong verbal and written communication skills and outstanding work ethic Plus – familiarity with Portfolio Digital Asset management platform Good interpersonal skills Excellent organization and attention to details.
