Fictiv is reinventing the way people prototype hardware. We offer an online tool for hardware engineers to order 3D parts from a network of idle printers. Our service significantly reduces the amount of time and money needed to prototype hardware, while helping vendors improve the utilization of their printers. Hardware engineers upload a 3D model to our platform to receive a quote and order parts using a credit card. Once an order has been placed, vendors with the right material and technology review and agree to produce the part. Vendors on our network include local manufacturers, companies and individuals that have idle 3D printers. We vet all vendors to ensure they meet our demanding quality standards. Once a part is finished printing, we pick up and ship the part by courier or postage.
