Position Summary: You will provide construction oversight for branch buildings. You will also coordinate work of contractors and consultants, and oversee construction, renovation, and remodeling projects. You will report to the Facilities Management and Support Services Director. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate the construction/installation of renovation projects from construction and installation to completion of the project. Approve work, compile punch lists, and review pay requests and invoices. Verify submission of partial and final lien waivers before submission. Perform field inspections of work to determine compliance with contract documents. Review shop drawings. Represent Bank interests to outside vendors and contractors on facilities projects and coordinate with facilities staff and contractors on project support. Participate in developing and reviewing project specifications, bid documents, and submittals. Review work in progress to evaluate quality and compliance with specifications. Help prepare cost estimates and budgets. Organize and run meetings between design professionals, construction contractors, and Bank clients as needed to manage the work. Provide management with regular updates and status reports. Upon completion of construction phase, you will handle project close-out details, and produce the debrief. Handle site safety, insurance and bonding issues. Provide assistance evaluating design consultant, construction contractor agreements and requests for proposals (RFP). Interview construction contractors and maintains working list of qualified construction professionals at Branch location. Review construction change requests and change orders. Review and negotiate pricing and recommends appropriate actions. Prepare associated documentation. Investigate and provide solutions on building construction issues. Implement repairs. You will drive a Bank vehicle in the performance of job responsibilities, when needed.
