We are seeking a highly motivated, well spoken and enthusiastic Dental Assistant for a casual position at Family Dental Care. The position will begin with 2-3 days each week. Dental Assisting experience with knowledge in Oasis and HiCaps is preferred but not compulsory. On job training is offered. Good communication skills and phone manner are essential. Must have excellent computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate will be honest, willing to learn, reliable and well organized with a mature and professional work ethic. About the role: Chairside assisting Sterilization of instruments adhering to strict infection control policies. Coordination of laboratory work Supporting and assisting with front desk Job Type: Casual Salary: $20.00 to $30.00 /hour Experience: Dental Assistant: 1 year (Preferred) Work Eligibility: The candidate can work permanently with no restriction on hours (Required) Benefits: Staff / corporate discounts Duties: Providing chair-side assistance (e.g. handing equipment to dentists, spraying and suction) Assisting with administrative tasks as needed (e.g. billing, maintaining patient records) Assisting with front office tasks as needed (e.g. reception) Routinely maintaining and sterilising equipment
