We are looking for a Vice President, HR Business Partner to work as a strategic partner with the Corporate Leadership Team in all areas of people, team and organizational assessment, development, and effectiveness. This person does not act as an HR Consultant, rather as a partner who shares the responsibility for the achievement of business goals. The role has accountability for Talent Management (including Talent Acquisition), Compensation & Benefits and Payroll and reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer. Responsibilities: Build strong relationships with Corporate Leadership teams as a strategic partner. Understand the organization and its objectives, challenges and initiatives. Actively contribute in management meetings to provide perspective on key organizational issues. Proactively facilitate and coach in change management and organizational development initiatives as a desired business partner. Read the “pulse” of the organization through diagnostic surveys, action planning to continuously develop the organizational design and culture. Actively advise and coach the business leaders in support of business plans and organizational strategic outcomes. Work with SVP of Human Resources to develop and execute the Talent Management Strategy, taking a “hands-on” approach to building, managing, and executing on key talent review deliverables. Identify talent together with line management, get to know them personally, take interest and active part in their development plans and career development. Proactively support internal promotion and early developmental assignments of identified talents. Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines and procedures recommending plan revision as well as new plans which are cost effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives. Proactively identify and address human resources challenges and opportunities, including workforce planning efforts, which may affect the execution of business plans. Provide advice to management on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretation and job evaluation including the design of creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs. Work with management in the development of high quality solutions, action plans, and appropriate metrics, which may include developing effective skills and competency structures, and systems in support of business goals and talent requirements. Guide management toward the application of appropriate learning and development solutions for individuals, creates meaningful development and career plans, and tracks progress. As part of the HR Leadership Team, wear an HR-wide hat in leading the function to realize HR’s aspirational vision and strategy. Be an active member of the LT sharing insights from the business, emerging trends in the field of HR, and elevate the capabilities and cohesiveness of the team to maximize their value to FXI. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree 10+ years’ experience in HRBP, Talent Management, and/or Compensation related roles 5+ years’ experience direct leadership responsibility Skills and Knowledge Business Partnering, Advising and Consulting: Develops strong consulting and partnering relationships with senior stakeholders by building trust, proposing integrated solutions, and conveying a firm understanding of the business drivers and needs. Is widely viewed as a credible, trustworthy leader whom is relied upon for input on business decision making. Establishing Strategic Direction: Establishing and committing to a long-term business direction based on analysis of systemic information and considerations of resources, market drivers, and organizational values. Business Solution Design & Integration: Designs, creates, and develops integrated whole system strategies or solutions to support business needs, driving cultural, large-scale transformation Interpersonal Competence: Establishing and sustaining trusting relationships by accurately perceiving and interpreting emotions and behaviors in the context of the environment. Analytics & Insights: Leverage data from multiple sources to analyze and understand key business trends and patterns and uses insights to drive change when needed. HR Subject Matter Expertise: Knowledge in multiple HR practice areas (Total Rewards, Talent Management, Leadership Development, etc.) with mastery in on or more. Able to leverage best practice knowledge and experience to propose innovative and integrated solutions to business opportunities.
