Our Fast Tread stairs and other prefabricated formwork systems now feature in over 1,000 buildings, including many landmark ones, across Australia and internationally We are looking for an experienced and skilled full time Welder to join our team, based in Goulburn. As our Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting designs, cutting and joining metals and other materials at our facilities or construction sites. You will be working with the latest equipment to put together mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision. Detailed duties include: · Reading blueprints and drawings and taking measurements to plan layouts · Determining appropriate welding equipment or method and setting up components for welding according to specifications · Operating angle grinders, aligning components and welding parts together using manual and semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead) and appropriate welding techniques · Testing and inspecting welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws and ensure compliance with quality standards · Ensuring compliance with safety regulations at all times To apply for the role, you must have: · At least 5 years of work experience using a variety of welding equipment, machinery and procedures (SMAW, MIG, GMAW etc.) · Relevant certificate in welding production would be highly regarded · Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawing · Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools. · Knowledge of relative safety standards · Attention to detail Job Type: Full-time Salary: $65,000.00 to $70,000.00 /year Experience: welding: 5 years (Required)
