We are a new content channel on smart screens - to create the best attention! Brands can book on FRAMEN screens to get access to their target groups such as startups, managers, health and lifestyle-oriented audiences. FRAMEN is a marketplace for advertisers and screen providers. We stream advertisements, news, and stories on public screens in rooms to specific audiences. FRAMEN is the only provider of addressable context advertising channels. We give access to audiences in high attention environments by ensuring the best perception experience. We created an ecosystem for data-driven performance online marketing in semi-public venues. Digital communication in rooms such as hotels and cafés has so far been limited to costly and complicated digital signage solutions and non-transparent outdoor advertising contracts with agencies. FRAMEN is turning the tables: Their streaming technology enables easy management of own digital screen content, creates a new sales channel for screen owners and a new communication channel for advertisers, news and content marketing About the opportunity Following our successful launch in Germany in 2019 we are seeking a Sr. Android Developer to join our Berlin tech team to help us elevate the experience of our global products and lay the foundation for the future of android development and machine learning (computer vision) in Berlin. Our tech team owns the entirety of our android mobile products and all of the rewards and responsibilities that go along with that. They’re constantly striving to push the edge of what Android is capable of while striving for a high level of scalability, testability, and overall user experience. In this role, you will: Work in a cross-functional team and understand how the entire puzzle fits together instead of just a piece Build local, but think global. We want to create products that bring delight to our end users here in Germany and at the same time think about how we can the next Google or Facebook at a global level Ask "Why?" and be prepared to be asked, "What do you think about it?" Engage in knowledge-sharing within your team as well as the all of FRAMEN globally Understand and work with Agile development methodologies What you need to be successful: Background: Ideally 1-2+ years of experience with the Android Open Source Platform and Material Design principles and React Native Background: You’ve built or are currently building software with a focus on testability. Using practices like Test/Behavior Driven Development and Dependency Injection to keep software quality at its highest Skill: Writing in React Native / Android a product environment; ideally one where 90%+ of new code is React Native - > moving to Android for machine learning (Later).. Skill: Reactive programming - RxJava/RxAndroid/RxKotlin/etc... Skill: Model-View-ViewModel patterns or other progressive architectural patterns Actively help yourself (and others) be successful Continuously learn and challenge the status quo Think globally, act locally Have a strong bias for action Give and receive open, direct and timely feedback Sounds good?
