FLSmidth is looking for a Global Product Line Manager & Managing Director, located in Valbrembo (Italy) Key responsibility as Global Product Line Manager Responsible for the development and profitability of product portfolio of Packaging Carry out research to determine customer needs and expectations in order to develop new products and improvements, plus optimum global pricing Gather market intelligence, monitor, and analyze market trends and competitors to drive product line growth and develop an annual forecast for budgeting, manufacturing, and workforce planning Provide expert technical support for Sales, Engineering, Procurement, etc. Provide Marketing with information to promote portfolio Ensures continuous improvement and standardization of products Identifies development and value engineering opportunities Owns the product line responsibility for the entire lifecycle of packaging product and systems Works in close collaboration with 7 global regions to assure sales success Key responsibility as Managing Director: Informs regularly all employees about organizational changes, business updates, ways of working, etc. Assures monthly coordination meeting with local management team to support the local organization across all functional areas Assures Group policies and processes are implemented and lived Advocates and promotes FLS working values (Competence, Responsibility, Cooperation) Supports and drive the role out of global / regional HSE&Q initiatives Assures compliance Leads facility functions Key requirement Master Engineer or equivalent education at university level Proven track record in acting as a Global Product Line Manager in a similar set-up Commercial and sales mind-set Experience in a global, matrix organization Ideally first experience as Managing Director English At FLSmidth, we promote equal employment treatment and we welcome diverse applications.
