Expro Group are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Designer to join the Engineering team based in Aberdeen. The designer will work within Engineering team and under supervision to produce the required technical documentation to fulfil the requirements of the specific projects being worked on within the Subsea area. Experience in Hydraulic design work is preferred. Key Activities and Accountabilities: Produce Engineering documentation including drawings, BOMs, layouts, schematics as directed and in line with schedule and prioritising workload to ensure successful completion Perform drawing and or model checking to ensure conformance to design intent / requirements Enter Engineering documents into PDM system and configure as required Upload information to Engineering data bases and use of technical software packages Actively be involved and have input in Engineering meetings and design reviews as required Liaise with internal and external departments as and when required to ensure all questions and queries are resolved and liaise with Manager on any issues or concerns Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk to Expro’s reputation is minimised. If necessary, report possible violations or conflicts of interest Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes and systems. Takes an active part in quality improvement processes. Identify and report any deficiencies to supervisor and obtain authorisation for any deviations from standard procedures Actively comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and processes. Promote HSE awareness; take responsibility and be accountable for own safety and safety of others. Demonstrate the personal application of HSE procedures in daily performance and always follow the 10 Safety House Rules Ensure objectives set under Employee Development Plan are met Job Knowledge and Qualifications: Hold a technical qualification Knowledge of either AutoCAD, Solidworks, Inventor and Advitium Previous work experience within a Design environment preferably in a related industry Why Expro?
