Work across multiple functional projects to understand data usage and implications for data migration. Assist in designing, planning and managing the data migration process. Prepare data migration plans including migration risk, milestones, quality and business sign-off details. Responsibilities Manage assigned risks and monitor potential impacts as part of the data migration plan. Develop best practice, processes, and standards for effectively carrying out data migration activities. Perform source system data analysis in order to manage source to target data mapping. Perform migration and testing of static data and transaction data from one core system to another. Perform data migration audit, reconciliation and exception reporting. Manage cross-program data assurance for physical data items in source and target systems. Facilitate or participate in workshops to identify data sources and impacts to processes Skills General: Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and Database Management tools Hands-on experience working with multiple forms of Databases. Knowledge of file management, data handling and security Excellent problem solving skills and experience of data transformation Comfortable working in a fast paced, reactive, team environment and able to juggle changing priorities and workload Strong communication skills - confident liaising with teams internally as well as external stakeholders Technical: Broad knowledge of professional services and the IT and Quality Services market. Data cleansing, modelling (physical and logical), profiling, enterprise data architecture, data quality and data governance Data modelling and data architecture skills Good experience of understanding and writing Data Stage ETL specifications and delivery of technical solutions to an agreed standard Experience Business Objects Data Services certifications (highly desirable) Experience in one or more SAP / Oracle / Dynamics full life cycle implementation Experience in SAP / Oracle functional areas such as Finance, Cost Controlling, Supply Chain and Contract Management Stakeholder management skills Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £40,000.00 to £50,000.00 /year
