Job Description Scope of Position: The position involves working in the ocean freight department, organising customer shipments by ocean from origins throughout the world into Ireland. The job will entail dealing with all aspects of the service – bills of lading, dealing with ocean lines and customers, organising collection of goods, invoicing, dealing with customs. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Receiving and processing Bookings Logging Import shipments Updating Event Codes Updating transit reports Passing Vendor Invoices Equipment Control Customer Billing Organising deliveries Customer queries General queries and day to day tasks associated with Ocean Imports Qualifications 3-5 years' experience in Ocean Freight Effective Interpersonal Skills. Ability to relate to customers and internal employees at all levels Ability to motivate and work in a fast moving, pressurized environmental Previous experience with Word, Excel, Windows, Email, and various PC based Software.
