Eximius have partnered with a really exciting FinTech business within the payments sector, leveraging the latest technology to connect unbanked emerging markets with global payment networks. My client is passionate about facilitating payments across Africa and Asia in some of the most challenging environments and worst humanitarian crises in the world. They built a platform to help the likes of agriculture firms pay farmers and offer communities a way to send money home to their friends and family. To put things into perspective, imagine the impact of building the rails to connect the 2.5B unbanked to modern enterprises around the world. The business who have recently joined forces with one of the UK's oldest private banks are now looking to hire a passionate, self starter who are excited about joining the mission. This role can be based in London or remote, however will require travel to Africa. The business works with a number of banks, mobile operators and other financial institutes to connect customers with emerging markets. Ideal candidate is the "control tower" for all the relationships with their external partners, we are looking for a true contributor. Someone who enjoys working with large institutions to expand their payment network and manage end-to-end payment operations. You will be working closely with the Head of Operations and will be responsible for implementing country expansion strategies and supervising end-to-end payment flows for customers. Responsibilities; Plan the business expansion with new markets and new partners Conduct research on attractive new payout countries and partners Open bank accounts to allow local funds settlement. Work with the operations team to track incoming customer payments and credit customer wallets with the appropriate funds Trade funds into foreign exchange and ensure deposit into the appropriate accounts Collaborate with payment partners to resolve any payment issues.
