About EVENT Hotels EVENT Hotels The Netherlands is a fully integrated platform from which hotels are managed and serviced. Currently four hotel portfolios are managed from Amsterdam, 35 hotels across Europe. This role is for one of the hotel portfolios. A group of 10 boutique style hotels (K+K Hotels) located in major cities in Europe such as London, Paris, Vienna, Barcelona. About the job You’ll be supporting the management of the hotels in keeping the business processes of the organization manageable by maintaining management systems, including the AO/IC and the planning & control cycle. You’ll provide the management with financial analyses reports that include relevant financial and economic information (management reports). The Corporate Controller keeps the business process manageable for the purpose of managing the organization and being ‘in control’ of the management. As a Corporate Controller within EVENT Hotels you will advise and inform the hotel management on a financial-economic level and support management by developing, installing and coordinating control measures and management systems for cash handling and income audit. The cash handling and income audit takes place in the hotels, the corporate controller handles the check. What do we expect from you? A completed business economics education work experience in a similar role Several years’ experience as an (assistant) controller Industry experience is an advantage Knowledge of the organization specific systems Specific tasks Control on maintaining the cash procedures, including regularity of expenses Provide a constructive contribution to the (further) development of financial administrative software systems Makes proposals to optimize the administrative processes within the organization and installs audit & control measures of internal control for the hotels in consultation with the manager Advice, solicited and unsolicited, to the hotel management in the financial and economic field
