Benefits Generous salary Industry training Career development Training Relocation support About the role As the mechanical drafter, you will be required to support the engineering team with project and conceptual designs for water transfer, pumping and structural design. Working in a small team you will liaise with the workshop, engineers and clients to gain a clearer understanding of what is required to design items using AutoCAD and Inventor design packages. Duties Work alongside mechanical engineers Draft pump, water treatment and structural conceptual designs and packages Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in relation to technical application Ensure design comply with regulatory compliance and standards Skills Have 1 to 2 year’s experience as a mechanical drafter Must be proficient in the operation of AutoCAD, Inventor and Microsoft Office and Excel Have sound written and verbal communication skills and enjoy face to face interaction with peers and clients Bring an open and creative mind Culture of the branch The attitude in the branch is, get in and get things done.
