This is a permanent and part-time role working Monday to Wednesday 8.30am to 17.00. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package. Purpose of the Job To coordinate all HR support activity within the Energy Supply Division and to proactively support the HR Manager in their role. Key Accountabilities To provide generalist HR administrative support to the HR Manager in order to assist them with actively supporting their client base To provide generalist HR administrative support to the business, guiding on policies and HR Shared Service Centre (SSC) processes To coordinate the employee lifecycle arrangements (for example, starters, leavers and contractual changes) to ensure that these processes operate smoothly and are in line with established policies and processes Responsible for carrying out HR inductions for all new starters, exit interviews and coordinate the probationary review process To act as the key point of contact and provide user support for designated departments/population and their managers regarding operational issues and the use of ENGIE HR systems. To provide management reports for HR colleagues and managers in accordance with their requirements To ensure full and thorough liaison with payroll offices and providers to initiate the correct payroll treatment of all compensation elements. To support with ad hoc requests Outcome, Results and Key Performance Indicators Provide excellent customer service to client base and send an initial response to any queries within 24 hours of receipt and keep employees informed of progress regarding issues raised Process payroll instructions and applications, contractual changes, probations and resignations in a timely manner, ensuring Payroll receive the necessary paperwork to process and employees receive the relevant letters where applicable Carry out ad hoc tasks or project work, to the level specified and within the deadlines provided Provide detailed personal advice and guidance to all users regarding the effective use of HR systems Perform regular reporting activities within the established timeframes Key Relationships HR Manager and HR team Employees and managers across the division HR Shared Services Centre Employee relations providers Payroll teams HRIS For more information about ENGIE please visit: http://www.engie.com/en/candidates-area/ Qualifications Qualifications A CIPD qualification is an advantage or equivalent Knowledge and Skills Proficient in the use of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint Sound interpersonal skills with an appreciation of cross-cultural working Strong verbal and written communication skills An awareness of the big picture and the impact on others Focus on effective and timely delivery and working in a commercial context Experience Experience of coordinating HR processes Experience of HR systems administration Experience of providing support to HR system users at all levels Behavioural Capabilities Confidential, diplomatic and discreet Willingness to help others and the ability to work well in a team Possess excellent planning and organisational skills and exemplary attention to detail and accuracy Self-starter, highly motivated and able to work on own initiative to deliver results Able to deal with a high workload Flexibility and ability to prioritise work to deal with constant change Deliver exceptional customer service and possess good interpersonal skills Ability to deal with ambiguity and to think laterally For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
