Enghouse Networks is currently looking for a well versed Professional Services Consultant to join the team. This position requires an individual to assist with the delivery of NetDesigner specific professional services related projects. The successful candidate will be required to take ownership of the delivery for the following types of professional services projects: Software Installation and Deployment projects Software Training projects Data Migration projects Custom Application Development projects The successful candidate will be required to work independently, when possible, to deliver professional services projects on time and within budget. The successful candidate can liaise with management and peers within and across departments for support in the delivery of professional services projects. Where projects are more complex in nature, the successful candidate will need to work with all team members to support project delivery. In addition to delivering professional services projects, the individual will be required to support other operational needs around the flagship product, when time permits. Some of these activities include, but are not limited to: Quality Assurance Technical Support Software Documentation Responsibilities Install and deploy the complete NetDesigner/ArcGIS technology stack for customer projects Provide NetDesigner training for customers Execute data migration projects from requirements analysis to delivery Assist with custom application development projects Assist with the quality assurance process Provide technical support assistance where required Support the documentation process Qualifications Post Secondary degree in either Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent Experience working in a software development environment Experience with Geographic Information Systems and its application to the telecommunications industry Experience using utility/telecommunication asset management software packages Technical Skills Proficiency with ESRI’s suite of GIS products, specifically ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Enterprise Knowledge of Python scripting language Experience using Javascript Proficiency with Microsoft Office products Experience with VMWare and managing VM environments Experience with Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS cloud platforms Experience working with Oracle and SQL Server Experience with web services (SOAP and REST protocols) Ability to install and configure Windows desktop applications Ability to install and configure web applications using Windows Internet Information Services Interpersonal Skills Able to work independently with minimal direction Self-starter and an independent problem solver Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) Writing and verbal communication in French considered an asset Strong public speaking and presentation skills Regular office environment 10% travel required We are an Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) compliant workplace.
