Main purpose of the Job: A HR Administrative focused role dealing with Recruitment, Onboarding and Leaving Employees, HR and Payroll Administration to meet the demands of the Company and HR department, all in line with legal obligations and department policies and procedures. The role requires a high level of confidentiality, efficiency, effectiveness, diplomacy, accuracy and organisation, all to be conducted in a timely, professional and courteous manner. To carry out the following on-boarding process by ensuring: Contract of Employment’s are prepared and issued on or before the first working day with all relevant contractual and informative documentation and ‘New Starter Checklist’ is updated regularly confirming return and signing of documents. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK are provided by ALL new employees. Upon receipt of signed and accepted employment contract, references are taken out and replies are monitored. Returned references with concerns should be forwarded to the HRBP for further verification. To carry out the following off-boarding process by ensuring: Confirmation of Resignation Letters are prepared and issued to the leaving employee. Enter leaving employees onto the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) in the correct payroll months and archive electronic personal files. Pass Leavers Notice with full details of leavers’ information advising of adjustments/deductions along with the employees leaving month rota to Payroll for processing. HR Administration Issue appropriate Contract Amendment Letters or, where applicable, an updated Contract of Employment upon receipt of an authorised Job Adjustment Form. Ensure all HR documentation requiring signatures are chased and obtained in a timely manner. Management of annual Holiday Forms, ensuring that everyone is issued a form and all authorised holidays are filed for reference. Payroll Administration Ensure documentation received that affect changes to the payroll are gathered and organised together appropriately and readily available to be processed when the payroll is due. Log employee sickness, ensure completion and return of all forms, ensuring Self-Certification Sickness Forms and medical certificates are submitted. Assist Payroll Specialist as and when required with administrating payroll. Qualifications: Degree in Human Resources Qualified member of CIPD Level 3 Previous Experience and Knowledge: Strong administration skills Ability to multi-task and use own initiative High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work under pressures with high volumes and tight deadlines Excellent organisational and communication skills Experience using HRIS (advantageous) Excellent computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook with basic PowerPoint Experience working within a fast paced and demanding HR department Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
