About Eficode

What do we mean by Managed Services? We are a specialized business unit of Eficode that offers Cloud, Systems, Atlassian, DevOps and Coding services to our customers. Our work is completed with over 50 tools and a multitude of environments. As a team we communicate with each other about our work tasks, but don’t forget to switch off and talk about all things from games to getting visas to Vietnam. We offer a multitude of different positions in our team. Pick one from below which interests you the most, but don’t forget that you’re not bound to one role, and can switch between the three different options during your career if you want to: Cloud and Systems You learn about different Cloud and Linux systems We require basics of IT infrastructure such as Unix system basics, DHCP/DNS, Bash, Python and networks We offer a different view to cloud and systems where instead of working through UI you use command line and Git. Code reviews, repeatable processes and working smart will become familiar to you. DevOps Solutions You learn about different DevOps tools and solutions to deploy and manage systems We require basics of continuous integration, continuous testing and automated testing, Docker, knowledge of software development practices (such as Agile), knowledge of Linux and Windows systems as well as building and deploying to those with Java, Go,. NET Core or Node.js We offer the opportunity to work with Europe's leading DevOps experts, knowledge sharing sessions and a chance to learn the newest trends from great colleagues. You will learn new and exciting ways of working and find new ways to improve customer processes. Together with the team you get to work on interesting customer projects with small and large companies. Tools and Processes You learn about different tools and processes while working with a customer and through Eficode’s internal projects We require Linux knowledge, basics of project management, agile and project work. Requires understanding of Python and CSV parsing for data migrations and customer configurations. A plus if you know about ITIL, SAFe, etc. Extra big plus if you’re familiar with Groovy. We offer interesting Atlassian cases where you get to take service desks into use for customers and create agile transformations and processes across the field. You get to work with ever changing environments and have the possibility to affect your work and work schedules. Practice task expected for this position: Requirement is to do the Docker part When applying to Cloud track please also fill out the Cloud section. If DevOps line interests you the most we expect to see either DevOps practices (such as github actions/ https://travis-ci.com/) or Ansible part for deployments. You have the opportunity to travel across our 12 different office locations all around Europe or, if traveling is not your thing then you can remote work from home after we have shown you the ropes. First in the beginning however you come to practise with the team in our office in the heart of Helsinki, a stone’s throw away from the vibrant Kamppi area.
