Full time, permanent position £24,099pa As an educational charity that seeks to connect people with each other and the living world, it is vital that our team members understand our mission and the ethos that underpins it. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Training Officer to help ensure our mission and ethos runs through all of the training programmes we deliver for our team members, as well as equipping them with the skills to be able to deliver it. The role will support our Learning & Development Team in delivering our expanding training programme, which will involve developing and delivering a diverse range of training workshops for our team of over 350 core and 150 seasonal team members, and 170 volunteers. On one day you may be delivering compliance based courses such as health and safety or equality and diversity, and the next you may be helping to deliver our Welcome Programme to new team members, or running skills development workshops to develop assertiveness or public speaking skills. Eden is known for its fun, optimistic and celebratory teaching style and we are looking for someone who is creative in finding imaginative, experiential ways to deliver learning experiences that educate, inspire and motivate people, using our site as the classroom wherever possible. You must be a reflective practitioner who can contribute to the continuous improvement of our training programmes by collecting and analysing feedback data and using this to ensure they are effective and create a lasting positive impact. This is a full time role and your time will be split between teaching and facilitation, time in the office to develop programmes and prepare training materials, and being out and about on our beautiful site promoting our training programmes to staff, managers and volunteers. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in developing and delivering a wide variety of effective, engaging and interactive training programmes within a business context, with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with audiences at all levels whilst facilitating and promoting our training programmes.
