This year Echuca Regional Health is offering 10 students work experience in 5 different streams. These Streams include; Allied health, Corporate Services, Nursing, Trade, Administration and Human Resources. Students will work as a staff member for a whole week in the Department of their choice. Work Experience at Echuca Regional health, is split into 5 main streams. This includes: 1. Allied health Physiotherapy Occupational Therapy Speech Pathologist Dental Dietician Pharmacy 2. Nursing Medical Theatre Community Maternity Rehabilitation 3.Corporate Services Kitchen Café Orderly Patient Porter Supply 4.Trade Plumber Electrical Engineering Maintenance 5.Administration, Finance and Human Resources Accounts Payable / Receivable Executive Administration Education Payroll Information and Technology Occupational Health and Safety Human Resources Finance In order to apply, you will need to submit a cover letter and a resume. In the cover letter please include what school you attend and which specific stream you would like to commence with. During the week, students with perform day to day tasks that staff complete, questions throughout the day will be allowed, as well as career advice and flexibility for breaks may be available depending on the Department. Work experience from 11 May to 15 May Applications will be open from 24 April 2020 for St Joseph's College and River City College students and will close Midnight Friday 5 June 2020. Work experience from 22 June to 26 June Applications will be open from 21 September 2020 for Moama Grammar students and will close Midnight Friday 16 October 2020. Work experience from 23 November to 27 November Please be mindful that these are the set dates for the year, we are unable to accommodate work experience requests outside of these dates. ERH is committed in 2020 to offering each of our local secondary schools in the area (minimum age of 15 years), one week of placement for a total of 10 places. Due to demand and in agreement with local secondary schools, students from the area will be given first preference where demand is high for positions however all interested applicants are encouraged to apply.
