Eat a Pitta is home to Bristol's best falafel! We are a growing, independent business with shops in Bristol’s busiest locations. We are proud to serve food that is healthy, fresh and made by us while giving our customers an outstanding experience and have them leave our stores satisfied and happy. The production unit is the heart of our operation with high volume and consistently great quality food prepared and delivered daily to our four locations. We are looking for a Food Production Operative to join the team that makes the best falafel and hummus in Bristol. We are looking for enthusiastic new Food Production Operatives to work in a permanent position to compliment the great people we have already have working for us in our kitchen. Motivated, dynamic individuals with proven food prep and driving skills, and the will to learn and progress are valuable to us. This role entails: producing fresh food using established recipes/processes driving company vehicles to deliver food products to the shops ensuring the premium quality of food produced handling food according to health and safety regulations cooperating with colleagues and supervisors to complete the tasks of the day proactive attitude mentally and physically ability to stay calm and work under pressure willingness to learn and advance in the company Applicants should have: previous food prep experience (although full training in our processes and equipment will be given) clean driving licence conversational English skills flexible to work any day of the week good work ethic team playing spirit sense of responsibility and punctuality some level of comfort with physical work passion for quality fresh food We offer an enjoyable and professional environment to work in. All team members enjoy a free meal and paid breaks when working, tea/coffee and snacks are provided too. Food Production Operative working hours are approximately 7am - 3pm, 4-5 days per week, with the rare bonus of having every evening free to spend time with your friends, family, etc. We operate a company pension contribution scheme, a free and confidential employee assistance programme and provide uniforms and all personal protective equipment necessary. Starting salary is £8.50 per hour for all applicants, regardless of age.
