Junior Accounts Assistant An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and innovative Junior Accounts Assistant to join the team at Eat Work Art. Working within the Finance Team of four based in Hackney Downs Studio, you will strive to ensure that all aspects of our resident and supplier accounts are correct. Working with some of the most exciting creative businesses in the UK, you will help to ensure that billing is accurate, and timely. You will see each touch point with our residents as an opportunity to exceed expectations and to ensure they feel connected to and supported by our community. Reporting to the Finance Manager, and working on both sides of the ledger, this role is both numerical and clerical. Consisting of assisting the team with resident queries, fielding communications with vendors, fact checking, filing, and other duties as needed, a diverse skill-set and flexible approach are a must. You will: = Process resident sales orders and invoices, as well as supplier purchase invoices in our Sage 200 accounts package = Reconcile Supplier and Resident statements = Investigate and resolve supplier and resident finance queries = Monitor the supplier and resident email inboxes and respond in a timely fashion = Enter resident data into our database and maintain resident lease information within our CRM system = Sort and file relevant paperwork and undertake other ad hoc finance duties Essential Experience and Skills = Minimum 6 to18 month’s work experience within an accounting/finance environment = Excellent communication and numeracy skills = Flexibility and adaptability = Excel and another accounting package experience Benefits = Gold level private healthcare package with Simply Health = Discounts and freebies (cinema tickets, discounts at big brands, phone insurance etc) with Perkbox = Cycle to Work Scheme = Complimentary Art Pass = Regular team social and creative events including Culture Club Applications will be reviewed as we receive them, so please apply at your earliest convenience.
