An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Paralegal to join the growing Legal team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. The post holder will be responsible for providing assistance and support to the Claims and Inquest teams to ensure that contentious inquests and claims (including employer’s liability, public liability, clinical negligence and low value property claims) are managed effectively. The ideal candidate should be dynamic and have a flexible and pro-active approach to work with excellent interpersonal skills to be able to communicate with people on all levels. This post requires someone who is efficient, organised and self motivated with the ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of Healthcare Law, Claims and Inquests is preferred but not essential. Ideally looking for someone with experience as a Junior Paralegal and/or the desire to obtain legal qualifications.
