This is an interesting and exciting opportunity to join the Cardiology Administration team at The William Harvey Hospital to undertake the role of Pacing Coordinator. Candidates must be highly organised having excellent prioritisation skills, be able to work to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. As this post involves extensive call handling with patients and families, carers, GPs, Hospitals and other health professionals, excellent communication skills and a friendly approachable nature are essential for this role. You will need to be able to work with minimal supervision. We require a flexible approach to meet the needs of the service i.e. cover for annual leave, sickness and the ability to cover at various units in the Trust’s geographical area. The post holder should have previous office experience and knowledge of Allscripts PAS would be a distinct advantage, although training will be offered. An NVQ level 2 or 3 in Business Administration / Customer Service and previous experience of working within a health service environment would be desirable. Knowledge of Pacemakers is a distinct advantage but full training will be provided.
