A leading South African agricultural company is seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join their team in Bethlehem, Free State. The incumbent would provide an efficient maintenance support service through the successful implementation, managing and carrying out of breakdowns, changeovers, implementation of an effective preventative maintenance program, control and direct the activities of subordinates and external contractors to ensure the smooth and efficient daily operation of all machines and services for production. Required minimum education/ training: Grade 12, preferably with Math’s and Science Qualified Fitter At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in an FMCG environment Good understanding of PLC’s Exposure to food safety audits Good understanding of LRA, OHS Act, and Food Safety Good planning and organizational skills Fluent in English (Read, write, speak) Good computer literacy especially Microsoft Office Good people management skills Good financial interpretation skills Responsibilities: Manage and provide efficient maintenance support service Leadership Preventative Maintenance Suppliers and contractors Trucks Food Safety Health and safety If this resonates with you, please apply today.
