This position is tasked to conduct Reliability Tests in the lab. RESPONSIBILITIES: - 1. Calculate, analyse and generate prediction report for the product according to the configuration BOM and design schematic. 2. Collect and analyse field failure data to obtain the failure rate and product life characteristic using statistical model. 3. To perform tests for product reliability assessment: - Develop reliability test plan Perform test by setting stress level, monitoring the basic functionality of testing product, recording regularly, analysing failed unit and accessing repair accordingly Furnish test report (including product life characteristics, MTBF) with detailed results after completing the Reliability Test accordingly to the test plan 4. To work with Product Engineer to ensure the reliability of new / modified product. 5. To work with external test-house to conduct Reliability Test when necessary. 6. To work with Quality Assurance team to perform root cause and trend analysis for the failure mechanism found in the test. 7. Manage and monitor PM / calibration Reliability Lab equipment. 8. To work with vendor for maintenance and tooling. 9. Support Production / IQA / SQE / NPI on Reliability Testing. 10. Monitor technician in electrical testing and lab maintenance. 11. Manage Reliability Lab process, maintenance and safety. 12. Perform basic functional test for all products (gas meter, electricity meter and communication device). REQUIREMENTS: - 1. Degree in Engineering - Electrical & Electronics with minimum of 2 years of related working experience. 2. Working knowledge in international standards on Reliability Test and data analysis skills. 3. Experience in the application of statistical methods to design reliability and process capability. 4. Experience in testing ALT, HALT, thermal cycle test, drop testing and salt spray test preferred. 5. Good English communication skills, both verbal and written to liaise with clients. 6. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Outlook. 7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 8. A team player with strong leadership skills, communication and interpersonal skills.
