Home to the biggest thrill rides and coolest waterslides on the planet, Dreamworld presents a unique and diverse opportunity for a qualified Mechanical Fitter / Welder to join our Technical Services team. The primary purpose of the role is to maintain, service and repair all rides, plant and equipment within Dreamworld and WhiteWater World whilst adhering to safe and efficient work practices. Our preferred applicant should have a minimum of 5 years post trade experience, combined with an extensive industrial maintenance background. Additionally, you must have ability to demonstrate diagnostic and repair skills in the following areas: Hydraulic and pneumatic systems Pumps and dewatering systems Heavy fixed plant repair Experience with welding and fabrication would be advantageous. Experience in the Theme Park Industry would be advantageous. Basic machining skills. You must hold a current Manual driver’s licence and forklift licence. An EWP licence would be desirable but not essential. Flexibility with working hours is essential as evening, weekend and shift work on a rotational roster is a requirement of this role.
