We have an exciting career opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Analyst, Business Operations, Financial Planning & Analysis. You will support our Business Operations team in providing business support and analytics to our national service line and functional department leadership. You will actively participate in report generation, interpretation of results and analysis. You will recommend courses of action to management and will help lead the implementation of process improvement and operational excellence to meet business needs. Further, you will work closely with project teams to ensure revenue recognition is appropriately recorded and focus on the driving margin improvement initiatives set out by the respective service lines. The candidate will participate in preparation of financial and revenue planning, forecasting and other related analysis as required. As a Senior Analyst, Business Operations, Planning & Analysis you will: Support the National Director and Sr. Manager, Business Operations and Financial Planning and Analysis, with financial analysis, management reporting, results analysis and special projects as required Develop data analytics to understand and interpret performance within the business using data resources, analytical tools and techniques Be responsible for a variety of both monthly and ad hoc analysis pertaining to financial performance, client profitability and practice profitability Understand and help support business strategy in alignment with the national strategy and providing insights into business performance Support the firm’s national service lines and functional department’s annual budgeting process and regular forecast cycles and prepare meaningful information and analytics to support budget and forecast execution Participate and support due diligence and integration processes of acquired firms and new lines of business Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights for specific business needs Work with National Procurement team to ensure compliance with national vendor programs, services agreements within the national service lines or functional departments Be Grant Thornton If you’re a bit like us, you’re driven to connect with how others are feeling and thinking.
