RESPONSIBILITIES: This is a Full-time opportunity with a minimum of 30hours guaranteed Sets up Buhrs Rotatory Feeders at the beginning of each job according to the specifications provided and maintains an even flow of inserts; Observes equipment and error messages displayed on the monitor of the terminal to detect faulty output or machine stoppage; Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the Buhrs Supervisor. Clear equipment at end of the operating run; Records quality checks, scraps, and issues which occurred, such as downtime, and actions taken on the appropriate form and/or log; Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition, and follow all safety policies; Troubleshoot and correct machine issues as required; Required to assist with other tasks and projects as assigned. SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: High School education plus a minimum of one (1) year work experience in a similar role, or the equivalent combination of education and experience; Knowledge of insertion equipment (Experience working with Burhs, Mail Crafters or Bell and Howard would be an asset.); Ability to work in a fast-paced processing environment and adhere to deadlines; Evening hours. 3:30 pm-Midnight, some Saturday work may be required; Excellent communication skills both oral and written; Extreme attention to detail. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Lifting up to 50 pounds frequently; Continuous bending, squatting, twisting, and reaching; Repetitive lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling; Required continuous standing for a period of 8 hours or more.
