An opportunity has arisen with a funky cafe environment Job Description Job Role: Food Service Assistant Location: Manchester Salary/Hourly Rate: £8.21 ph Monday - Friday - 30 hours per week between the hours of 7.00am - 3.30pm Are you looking for a role with lots of people contact? Job Specification the job role will include: - Prepare the counters to the standard laid down by the management. Ensure that all customers receive prompt, courteous service at all times. Have a sound knowledge of the food being served to be able to answer questions and enquiries… Be sensitive to client and customer reaction and initiate prompt corrective action to overcome real or possible dissatisfaction. preparing coffees to brand standards Operate the tills or the cash system within Unit in accordance with Company training, and to ensure accurate charges for services consumed by the customers. Candidate Profile A candidate should have previous catering experience and hold a basic food handlers certificate. It is a benefit to have had previous experience of cash handling or operated as a retail cashier. The person should be bright, alert and outgoing, able to communicate effectively with customer, have great time management and maintain a high standard of personal presentation is essential. Most important you will be ambitious; we will train you and help you to progress as far as you possibly can.
