We are currently looking to appoint a Business Analyst Finance and Accounting SME to provide specialist support from within our Transformation team based in Peterborough. This key role will analyse our finance and accounting requirements, assess the business impact, investigate options and develop potential solutions. This will include the resultant business acceptance testing and implementation activity to support the end-to-end delivery of business change. Your Role With Us: Produce finance and accounting requirements documents. Define Account Rules, Static Data, Reporting Specifications, Regulatory compliance requirements. To be able to manage client relationships with senior finance stakeholders, platform experts in BaNCS. To support areas of BAT that result in a robustly tested BαNCS system from a business perspective and ensure a smooth delivery into Production both for production support releases and new Transformation Support BAT phases from Scripting through go live support, defect resolutions Dependencies are managed – both internal and external and both in terms of business and technology Actively input into BAT team management across all programmes Your Competencies & Past Experience: A systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving Excellent working knowledge of Life, Pensions and Annuities products, processes and regulations Excellent knowledge in Finance and Accounting Principles, practices and compliance requirements of UK and Ireland Expert MS Excel, Word and MS Project knowledge Superior analysis skills in applying system solutions to business issues Able to understand and translate complex financial processes.
