Job Summary We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer who will be responsible for developing and executing the manual and automated tests in order to ensure product quality. QA Engineer’s responsibilities include,but not limited to, requirements understanding, test cases/scripts identification and execution, prepare testing artifacts, team coordination, defects identification, defect logging in defect tracking system. Responsibilities and Duties Key Skills: Manual and Automation testing, Postman and JMeter tool, SDLC & STLC, API testing, Web and Mobile application testing, Defect tracking tools e.g. JIRA/bugzilla/ALM, writing test cases and execution, business process understanding, review functional requirements, database, security and performance testing. Acquaintance in automation testing tool -Selenium web driver and Appium. Desired Candidate Profile: Certification in Software Testing will be a plus. Should have good knowledge of Manual testing. Good understanding of SDLC and STLC. Good knowledge of Web and Mobile application testing. Expert in writing and executing the test cases. Business process understanding and review functional requirements. Execute and evaluate manual test cases and report the test results. Exposure on database testing, security testing and performance testing are added advantage. Can read code written by others, to include troubleshooting bugs and adding new features. Good in code debugging or have good knowledge about code debugging techniques. Decision making and ability to work independently. Ability to work under pressure and maintain deadlines. Great communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English.
