Diamond Carpet Centre Ltd is looking for an energetic individual as a Store Manager for their store located at 102-7750 128 Street Surrey, BC V3W 1L4. This position is full-time permanent with 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week. As a Retail Store Manager, you will be performing all duties described below: Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of the retail store Manage staff and assign duties Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors’ operations on sales Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale Develop and implement marketing strategies Plan budgets and authorize expenditures Resolve customer complaints Determine staffing requirements and hire or oversee the hiring of staff. Requirement: Completion of High School or Diploma is required Minimum 2 to 3 years previous managerial or supervisory experience Previous retail experience and/or customer service experience Ability to read, write and speak and comprehend English effectively. Basic math skills to handle money. What we offer: $32.00 per hour 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time position.
