Roles & Responsibilities We are looking for an individual to be part of our Autonomous Vehicle Technology team, who is passionate about developing self-driving technology and solution for future vehicle system. You will join a dynamic and technology-oriented environment and work with a team of industry professionals as well as leading researchers with academic background, to design, build and roll-out our L4 autonomous driving solution achieving Desay SV’s vision and strategy in this domain. In this role, you will be involved in researching, developing, and deploying algorithms for environmental mapping & accurate positioning of self-driving cars. You will have the opportunity to interact with vehicle manufacturers and access state-of-the-art autonomous vehicle testing platforms in real testing environment. You are expected to tackle a broad range of real-world localization problems and produce robust solutions to ensure our vehicles are safe to be driven on the roads. Job Descriptions Survey & study academic literatures and implement related ideas and algorithms. Research and develop High Definition 3D Mapping using LIDAR, Vision and/or GPS-INS systems Research and develop real-time vehicle localization using LIDAR, camera and sensor fusion Calibration of multiple sensors setup on vehicles. Test algorithm on real-road Write professional design and technical documents Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. Master’s degree and above preferred. 3+ years experience in C++ software development Experience in using ROS (Robot Operating System) Strong knowledge in Computer Vision and particularly visual SLAM techniques. Experience in using Git or other version control Experience in Deep Learning based image processing and embedded systems is an advantage. Knowledge in using CUDA. Able to work independently as a good team player Able and willing to travel. Strong problem solving, analytical and conceptual skills, with good communication skills Able to converse in both English and Chinese is a plus. (to engage with Chinese-speaking stakeholders effectively).
