The Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service Aboriginal Corporation (DYHSAC) is an Aboriginal community-controlled health organisation which was established in 1974 as the Perth Aboriginal Medical Service and has been an integral part of the Perth (Boorloo) metropolitan primary healthcare landscape for the past 45 years. DYHSAC provides holistic and integrated primary health care services to Aboriginal people living in the Perth metropolitan region. We employ 118 staff, have an annual turnover of $14 million and our GP services are delivered from clinics located at East Perth, Maddington, Midland and Mirrabooka. DYHSAC targets the social, emotional, cultural and physical wellbeing of Aboriginal people living on Noongar country. About the Opportunity DYSAC is seeking to appoint an experienced Systems Administrator to join our small ICT Team in our East Perth clinic. This is a newly created role reporting to the ICT Manager and requires a candidate who is diligent and ready to fulfil the requirements of the role. As a Systems Administrator you will: · Participate and deliver projects from the Organisations ICT Strategy. · Responsible for ensuring that ICT infrastructure systems are monitored, maintained, documented and kept up to date with emerging technologies. · Ensure security best practices are adhered to and provide input into improvements where identified. · Provide hardware, software, network and/or technical assistance. · Act as an escalation point for the front-line ICT support. Ensure incidents and requests are resolved within set SLAs. · Provide input into the ICT budget for both operational and capital expenditure requirements. · Analyse risk and design remediation plans based on security audit findings. · Supports disaster recovery, incident management and business continuity activities. · Identify and recommend improvement opportunities across the ICT spectrum. What you will need to bring to the role: 1. Solid knowledge and support experience in data protection platforms and Disaster Recovery operations. 2. Experience supporting Anti-spam anti-virus, anti-malware and web reputation software and systems. 3. Experience with deploying and managing mobile device management platforms. 4. Excellent time management skills and able to thrive under pressure. 5. Customer focused professional attitude with excellent communication skills. 6. Strong background in deploying and updating packages and desktop operating systems such as Windows 10. 7. High level of knowledge and experience in Microsoft products such as Active Directory, Exchange, Windows Server, SQL Server, Office 365, Windows Server and SharePoint. 8. A good knowledge of virtualisation environments and products including Citrix environments. 9. Strong background in deploying and updating desktop operating systems such as Windows 10. 10. Sound understanding of networking protocols and technologies including WiFi\VoIP\LAN\WAN switches, routers and firewalls.
