We have offices in Hamburg, Berlin, London, Paris, Zurich and New York. We are looking to hire a Research Analyst to support our Partnership Development team. This person elaborates macroeconomic, equity fundamental and fixed income research to provide context to our sales efforts and to create a narrative and a sales angle for the adoption of our solution. This role requires strong technical and interpersonal skills, as well as keen business insight, in order to interpret and present financial data from various sources both to our Sales organization and – to a lesser extent – to banks. The Research Analyst will collaborate closely with several internal departments and in particular with our Funding Strategy and Business Intelligence Teams. Responsibilities: The Research Analyst will use their abilities in financial data analysis to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in order to provide key business insights to our Sales organization in general and, especially, to the Funding Strategy and Business Intelligence departments. The Research Analyst will be mainly responsible for the following tasks: Creating macro, equity and fixed income analyses Elaborating regular reports, with a particular emphasis on scale and automation Utilizing a variety of software solutions to extract and rationalize data Leading ad hoc projects to optimize processes and improve the quality of the data set and associated processes in order to increase our Sales efforts Building subject matter expertise and technical skills to generate content to be consumed internally by leadership and various stakeholders, as well as by external parties Requirements: Degree in a discipline of finance, science, technology, engineering, or mathematics Post graduate qualification in finance or economics preferred (CFA, MBA, MSc) 4+ years of experience as a research analyst Strong economic analysis and quantitative skills Ability to use the Bloomberg platform for research Experience of modelling of companies' financials as appropriate for equity research production, including forecasting Knowledge of fixed income markets and sovereign debt Entrepreneurial and self-starter, comfortable and excited about having the freedom to set up your own data analysis platform Full professional fluency in English with outstanding verbal and written skills Worked in fast-paced environments, preferably Investment Banking or Private Equity Assertive and well-spoken, enjoy presenting insights to leadership and love extracting strategical insights from available data.
