Job title: Product Governance Analyst Location: Chester, UK Full Time / Part Time: Full Time About inSPire inSPire is a rapidly growing business within the Delta Capita group, with over 50 staff globally. We excel at providing Tier 1 investment banks with administrative support for various functions across their Structured Products platforms. This role will support the Product Governance and Transaction Management Teams. This is an exciting time to join inSPire DC in Chester as this new team is brought together to deliver exemplary services to our clients. Who are you? A focused, commercially astute and analytical person you may have completed a degree or have 2-5 years of experience working in a busy office environment, for example within an Investment Bank or Financial Services Consulting firm. You will be able to articulate clearly and provide examples of why you believe you are suited to this role, for example if you have specific area(s) of interest within the Financial Services sector. The ideal candidate will be confident working with your peers and can demonstrate examples of both delivering work as part of a team and as an individual. Respectful when addressing senior stakeholders, you are diligent, organised, and deliver a high standard of work to deadlines. Job Description The position will support our Product Governance team with their delivery of core support functions. Day to day the hire will support the Product Governance Manager with all core support functions including the documentation of project requirements and scheduling of meetings. The hire may be required to interact with senior stakeholders both within inSPire DC and with external clients, so they will be expected to perform a key role in ensuring successful delivery and overall client satisfaction. Performance delivery will be calculated by regular Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). The core support functions will include: = Email and telephone communications with external clients; = Tasks relating to a series of established regular committee meetings. This will include organising committee meetings, booking meeting rooms, drafting meeting materials (including agendas and ad-hoc items for discussion) and assisting in the closure of open action points through regular communication with key stakeholders; = Generating regular management information and disseminating the results into presentation packs suitable for senior stakeholders and committee members; = Performing and supporting operational due diligence relating to the committee functions; = Procedures relating to any of the above work-streams; and = Performing in depth research relating to the performance of trades in order to provide accurate analysis to the Product Governance Manager and ultimately, senior stakeholders. The successful candidate would be expected to: = Support the Product Governance Manager in project-related matters as needed; = Develop an in-depth and current technical understanding of MIFID II and other, local regulatory governance requirements particularly in the UK/FCA but with a good understanding of other European and global regulatory practice; and = Develop a good knowledge and understanding of our client’s internal policies and procedures, risk thresholds, key stakeholders, systems and technology. Essential Skills: = Excellent written and verbal skills; = Degree qualified. Ideally in Economics, Mathematics, Finance or associated discipline or have 2-5 years working experience in a busy office environment where you were expected to meet deadlines in a pressurized environment; = Be prepared to work as part of a team and understand the impact that delivery of your work has on your colleagues; = A focus on attention to detail in all aspects of your work and pride in delivering high quality work to the Product Governance Manager; = Display a polished and professional demeanor and be respectful of work colleagues; = A strong work ethic backed up by your engagement in University team activities, previous working experience or external interests; = Some Project Management Skills and experience would be desirable but are not mandatory; and = Word, Excel, and Power-point skills to an intermediate / high standard.
