Application deadline: 15/03/2020 Employer: DeepOcean Town/city: Westhill Title: Project Manager Full-time/part-time: Full-time Employment type: Full time Percentage of full-time: 100 Webcruiter ID: 4193610020 Positions: 2 Social sharing: Duties and responsibilities Lead and motivate the team to ensure that projects are delivered safely without injury to personnel or damage to equipment. Manage a comprehensive handover of documentation and information immediately after contract award. Ensure projects follow the DeepOcean Project Model and that all gates are closed out efficiently. Work with internal customers and sponsors to ensure scope and requirements are defined, agreed, budgeted and resourced. Ensure adequate resources are allocated to deliver the project successfully. Ensure on-time and on-budget execution of projects, meeting or improving on quarterly and annual budget and schedule targets. Ensure all project procedures and engineering deliverables are checked and approved prior to submission to the client. Deliver Offshore projects to our customers, both external and internal. Maintain and control Risk and Opportunity to ensure that risks are mitigated and opportunities for cost savings and schedule improvement are identified and achieved. Ensure variation orders are raised and agreed for all work over and above contractual requirements. A strong financial control and reporting rhythm must be established and maintained. Ensure invoices are raised and payments expedited in a timely manner. Use Lessons Learned to drive continuous improvement throughout projects. Support the Commercial Department in the tendering process to secure projects as and when required. Some travel must be expected. Qualifications Bachelor/Master degree in relevant engineering/management discipline, or similar. Min 10 years of relevant experience within offshore subsea Survey/IRM/Construction/Decommissioning Experience as a Project Manager in the oil and gas, subsea or other related industry, typically within Survey/Pipeline Inspection, Inspection, Maintenance and Repair, Experience from construction/EPCI and/or decommissioning type of projects. Demonstrated ability to read and understand contracts. Demonstrated track record of developing and maintaining trusted client relationships Personal qualities Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment. Good negotiation and communication skills. Good understanding of customer needs. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Self-motivated - yes “can do” attitude.
