Deliveries by Davidson was formed in October of 1981 by Don Davidson Jr. Mr. Davidson was employed by Briggs Transportation as a Truck Driver in the local 600. His operations started with two trucks and one customer, and it started in the basement of his home located in Bellefontaine Neighbors, Missouri. Soon Mr. Davidson bid on midnight shifts which provided the opportunity to build his company during the day and cultivate new customers for his thriving business. After many years of growth, Davidson has evolved into a family of companies with 3 different divisions: Davidson Logistics: Logistics - Warehousing and supply chain management that plans and controls product, from point of origin to consumption. Davidson Surface/Air: Trucking - Trucking freight anywhere from in-town to coast to coast. DSX: Brokerage - The in-between from a shipper and the carrier. We negotiate cargo hauling with other freight companies.
